Cascade Falls – A Beautiful Gem of Nature and History
-The sunlight stole through the embowering trees of the glen just enough to brighten into sparkling crystals the falling waters of Osceola Creek- William Dunne (1881) Stir the imagination and conjure up the richness in history of yesteryear. Right in the center of downtown, venture down the stairs to a 25 foot roaring waterfall and follow the woodland trail to the St. Croix River. Feel the legendary lore of the St. Croix Valley of Native Americans, explorers, missionaries, fur traders, lumbermen, and settlers who traveled the very same trail. Come back in the evening when the waterfall becomes illuminated with state of the art changing colored LED lighting.

Ride the train on weekends from May until October.

Miles of trails along the St. Croix River within 1300 acres of preserved land. Great diversity of prairie, woodland, wetland & river views for birding and hiking.
Steps off of Main Street, hike down to Cascade Falls, head to river’s edge,through switchbacks to the top of Eagle Bluff, where you’ll find the most beautiful panoramic views of the St. Croix River Valley.
Every Friday afternoon 2 – 6 PM in season, farmers come to town to sell their produce.
Krooked Kreek Golf Course
As the name implies, a crooked creek winds through the 18 hole course offering challenges to the golfer while showing off the countryside wildlife and floral beauty.
